Products intended for children (and in particular those intended for children under three years old) are subject to extremely stringent analyses. Cosmetics of this type must also be analysed and tested during use (application) tests. All such tests are carried out on the target group, i.e. children. The tests are always conducted under the supervision of a paediatrician and a dermatologist.
What is more, only those products that have passed the formulation analysis are tested. The Safety Assessment Report is also prepared in a different way. Toxicological analysis is given great attention here. This is of great importance because the skin of a child under the age of 3 is very permeable (due to its different structure).
