Tests on a given preparation are performed with a contact test, while contact tests, which are also called patch tests (Patch-Test) are widely used to detect contact allergies (e.g. those caused by cosmetics). Contact allergy is sometimes the main cause of allergic contact dermatitis, which is called allergic contact eczema. With dermatological testing, it is verified whether there is a likelihood of a contact allergy to a given product, or whether the product is safe for the skin and thus does not cause potential irritation.<br>In addition, Skin Lab Int conducts dermatological tests under the strict control of doctors from the Institute of Dermatology.
